Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection and Usage

Mample uses anonymous Firebase authentication; it does not require email/password registration. The following data is processed to deliver notifications:

• Device and connection records: Firebase stores the anonymous user ID, FCM delivery token, CLI Secret Key hash, random terminal connection identifier, device/terminal name, connected devices, notification preferences and anti-abuse rate-limit records.
• CLI messages: the CLI sends the message you provide. It does not automatically collect your source code or terminal output.
• Delivery and history: notification content is held temporarily in a Firebase delivery queue and removed after processing. The mobile app stores the most recent 50 notifications locally.

2. Free Usage

Mample does not offer premium purchases or subscriptions and does not use RevenueCat. No payment information is collected by the app.

3. Terminal Authentication

The CLI Secret Key is stored in secure storage on the phone and in the local CLI configuration file on your paired computer with user-specific access permissions. The key is transmitted over HTTPS for authentication; the Firebase user record stores its SHA-256 hash. Do not share your key or CLI configuration file. New keys use secure random values; rotating the key invalidates the previous key for CLI requests.

4. Third-Party Sharing

Google Firebase processes authentication, device/connection records and notification delivery data. Firebase SDKs may also process IP addresses, installation identifiers and technical request information to operate the service and prevent abuse. The website is hosted on Vercel. These providers process data under their own policies.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The website uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure visits and performance. Hosting providers may process technical request metadata. Mample does not display advertising on the website.

6. Data Deletion

Reset Data clears local notification history, removes connected-device records and rotates the CLI key. It does not delete the anonymous Firebase user record. To request deletion of remaining server data, email odun.coop@gmail.com with the subject “Mample data deletion request”. Do not send your secret key. Additional information may be needed to verify that the relevant record belongs to you.
